Crosswind v3 + hydraulic damper

My friend bought previous version of crosswind and I really liked their feel, when testing them out. So I bought my own. These are my 1st pedals.

While only seeing somewhat infrequent use, I still would and do recommend then to new flight/space enthusiasts. They might be somewhat more expensive than entry level pedals, but you get so much more from your them. Even If they are unused for a while, they perform perfectly each time. And are near ukbreakable

Even though there was some assembly required, it was easy with YouTube tutorials and was IKEA -level easy with lots of customization options to fit my needs.

This are my first rudder paddles. i bought them for Star cititzen and Elite Dangerous.
installation was easy also the configuration in the games.
now im having perfect control over the roll funktion . im happy !!

Best Rudder Pedals I ever Used

I tried a number of mid range pedals and nothing ever felt right. I started reading/watching some compairison reviews online and knew that these pedals would be what I was lookng for and I have to say they did not disappoint. The price point was spote on and the quality and craftsmanship is top of the line, you can see and feel the care put into making these pedals.

Crosswind V3 with hydraulic dampener kit.

Rated helo pilot and sim enthusiast.

I love the no-bullshit approach to packaging and assembly e. g. “figure it out”. YouTube tutorial was to-the-point and assembly was intuitive.

The dampener, while not a mag force trim like those used in advanced turbine helicopters, is a welcome substitute to overly spring driver rudder pedal setups; perfect for helicopter simming. The spring is easily reinstalled, and the dampener strength reduced, to go back to a conventional fixed wing setup. Build quality is excellent but the base is someone tripodal, causing a rocking motion if uneven z-axis pressure is applied to either pedal. When in actual use, however, this is not an issue, and there are several provisions for a more solid mounting surface.

Full travel left or right is a little shorter than I’d like but the throw is no the less smoother than most actual aircraft. Toe brakes are tough, adjustable in strength, and smooth.

Shipping was nearly immediate which is always appreciated.

Overall the pedal/dampener combo is excellent. It’s hard to sell most recreational sim pilots on the value of a peripheral for only one flight axis but if you love helicopters and are looking for an overall upgrade for fixed wing then it’s hard to pass up a better deal.

You guys should get into cyclics and collectives… give Komodo a run for their(his) money ; ).

Impressive stuff!

Having looked and asked around in the sim communities I frequent, the MFGs came up as a recommendation more often than any other pedals I would've considered. I went for them not just because they're "cheaper" than both the Virpil and TM I was also considering. More importantly: Everyone and their grandmother were praising these.
Delivery to Germany was much faster than I expected (one week exactly, pedals were listed as "in stock" when I ordered). Packaging on my example was a bit off (some small parts were rattling around inside), but no biggie.
I haven't finished messing around with all the adjustments (and there are plenty) and have only been flying with them for two days now. But even at this stage I can confidently say that they are way better than any other pedals I've ever used.
Some points of criticism/suggestions for improvement:
Pedal-angle adjustment is a bit awkward. I followed the instructions to the letter, but even then, tightening the two screws back down can slightly alter the pedal's position unless you grip it very firmly. Plus it would be nice to have some sort of notches/ratcheting system to adjust them more quickly and precisely to the same angle on both sides.
Cams: I guess I developed some bad habits using other pedals, but I do like to have some sort of light center notch to know the pedals are at dead center without having to think about it. Cam 6, which supposedly has a more pronounced center position, still only feels like a center "valley" or "dip" to me where the bearing can roll around in. It would be nice to have the option of that RoF-Cam Milan talks about on his page explaining cam-profiles.
But, hey: Those are all nit-picks, considering the overall build-quality, feel and precision these things offer. I can't compare them to any other current high-end pedals, but I will say that they blow the crappy Saiteks I used to have out of the water and are at least a class or two above the CH Pro pedals I've used for most of my simming-career.
And BTW: I'm still using my V3s without the dampening kit. Not sure if I'll order it, but if popular opinion is to be believed, it's a bit of a must-have upgrade. Thus far, I like mine just fine without the dampener, but we shall see ... :)

Worked perfectly

Received them in just a few days on the west coast of the USA. They were easy to assemble and install. They are top quality construction and work perfect in flight sim. Will recommend them to all my friends.

Installing in X-plane

I use x-plane on a iMac and installing the pedals was no problem at all. Just plug in, callibrate in x-plane and fly.

Excellent product and quality

Came from a set of SAITEK Combat pedals. Difference is day and night. Very smooth operation especially with helicopters. Build quality top notch. Now Milan needs to make a stick ????

Takes time getting used to coming from a twist stick. Wish I would've bought the yaw dampers. Nobody in our group has em & we're all curious. I get along much better with the #6 cam u sent with it. Really no complaints.

I researched quite a bit when I decided to upgrade my flight rig and the Crosswind 3's got strong reviews and recommendations. Since I got them, I realize why...they are tremendous and I am glad I chose them. Build quality, feel, adjustability and everything about them is top notch. Fantastics product and build. Super smooth and accurate and. Fully adjustable to your needs. The add on Hydraulic damper add to the already realism feel.

Best I have ever had

Very smooth and exact control of rudders, landing small Cessna and bit Airliners is no problem at all. Very precise control. I highly recommend it. Your will not regret it.
Just a great rudder and be able to adjust it on several places is great. I have keep default settings except angle of pedals. Only thing I had to change and it was very easy.
Get it if you are serious simmer.

Worth Waiting For

Been trying to grab a pair of these for over 8 months and it was well worth the wait & every penny spent. Excellent construction quality and feel. Fast and easy to set up and configure. Gaming changing experience in flight sims. Can't recommend these enough!

Best I've ever had.

They look so cool! These rudder pedals really do their job; After having used them for 1h30m, I managed to air-refuel a JF-17(!!) - and that was after having failed for 24++ hours using keyboard as rudder.
I actually baught these after being tired of waiting for thrustmaster availability since last summer. If you've got the cash, I really recommend them!

VERY satisfied!

Before buying the MFG Crosswind pedals, I was affraid that it might be difficult to build, might require special software to use aso.
But not at all, it was built in 10min, plug it in your computer and start flying!

The sensibility is very smooth and gives a good feeling for the planes reaction. In a dogfight, finding the small rudder adjustment necessary to turn and aim is very rewarding, although it might take a while to learn if you were using only a Flightstick before (but that is true for all pilots who are new with rudder pedals and is not specific to the Crosswind).

With the MFG Crosswind I can now fly planes like the Rise of Flight Halberstadt D.II who demand a very smooth rudder control and was barely flyable with my earlier Flight stick twisting function.

The screws are too short!

The screws are too short! I got 8x M10x30. I can not attach the pedals and must now buy suitable screws. Therefore, I can not yet say much about the product itself.

High quality rudder, great configuration and feeling.

The quality of this product and all the ways you can setup it are way over other plastic rudders for simulators. Not sure about Thursmaster TPR because I didn't try it.

Anyway this is cheaper than thursmaster and the feeling is just perfect.

Also this rudder is faithful to how the real ones are, it is very consistent, the movement is the same you would do on a real plane, accurated, and the configuration on a Simulator is quite simple.

I'd only ask for a larger base because sometimes if I don't place both feet at the same time on it, the rudder will dump slightly. This is not a normal situation tho (this happens to me when I have both feet on the ground and I don't synchronize their position back on the rudder). Only reason I give it 4 stars instead 5.

Quality pedals

Very good quality and better than I expected!

What an upgrade!

I upgraded from Thrustmaster T16000 pedals.

The wider pedals make a difference in pilot comfort. The yaw movement is buttery smooth thanks to very good bearings. The pedal springs are properly firm. The polymer used for construction of the pedals has a fantastic feel to it and appears very durable.

Assembly of the pedals is very easy. Calibration via the software is easy. Watch the Youtube videos for the best set of how-to instructions.

I mostly play DCS World and have noted better response from all the aircraft, whether they are the older FC3 modules or newer full-fidelity modules.

I now have more responsive and more comfortable rudder pedals and look forward to flying longer sessions with them.

Additionally, the shipping is amazingly fast. It took five days total from the time I placed the order to the pedals arriving on my doorstep in the midwestern US.

It's the best pedals I've used so far.
Delivery was fast and everything worked out perfectly.
The instalation was easy too, it had a lot of good YouTube videos, I use the pedals in X-Plane 11 and in MSFS 2020

Top Class

Ordering and delivery was easy and trackable due to DHL.
I had fast response to emails sent to Milan answering all my questions.

The kit itself is excelent in design & build.
Using it in IL2, rudder inputs are precise and smooth. This is assisted by a sturdy planted base and solid feel.
With the wall spacers against the skirting board, on lamanent flooring the rubber pads are enough to keep it where its placed.. There are mounting holes if needed to site it into a flght rig.

V3 comes wirh cam #4 &#6 and holes to place a damper (available later). I am yet to try cam #6 but have adjusted foot angle which was easy and enhanced comfort.
This is a serious bit of kit for serious flight simmers. Its also for the not so serious like myself. There isn"t much choice in rudder pedals out there. This product comes between low & high end value compeditors but out performs them all.

My first and most awsome rudder pedals

This is my first rudder pedals, and i love them. They feel strong and sturdy with those massive aluminum parts, and gives a great feel to the home cockpit / simulator experience.
The nut for the thightening rod was cracked and will break at some point, but still works for now. Told customer service and before i can enjoy my pedals some more, I now have a new nut shipped to me at their expense. Now that's great customer service right there!

Excellent pedals!

I bought the pedals for MS Flight Sim 2020 and they work great! Highly customizable ergonomics, easy to set up.
One thing to keep in mind: If you cannot use the wll spacers and the pedals stand freely on the ground, due to their relative light weight, they tend to slip away.
I used the bottom plate of my Thrustmaster Warthog to make them heavier and give them additional floor contact. That solved the problem nicely.

Awesome quality

If you are looking for a set of rudder pedals for MSFS2020 this is the ultimately set. Precision workmanship in materials and easy configuration in combination is perfect, especially the centering each time you have activated pedals as well as no jitter is a feast. I'll give the pedals my best recommandation.

Best on the market

Theys are the best on the market. They are a simple ingenious design and impeccably made. But other than possibly one other product out there, they are the only pedals that you can adjust vertically and that is very important because most people don’t realize that you only spend maybe 5% of a flight with both feet actually on the pedals , 95% of the time your heels are resting on the floor and the balls of your feet are pressing against the rudder pedals. This is true whether it’s a Cessna 150, a King Air , a McDonnell Douglas Phantom II, or an Airbus 300. I’ve been flying for 51 years in those and many other makes and it’s all the same...you rarely place your entire foot on the pedals you use your forefoot with heels on the floor. So when I came across yours they were the winners! Hands-down! Thanks for the good work!

Crosswind flight rudder pedals grey

Excellent equipment feels much more natural and very easy to setup for my IL2 Great Battles simpit. MFG's service and shipping was outstanding! It wasn't expensive and very fast to the States. You will not be disappointed ordering a set of these awesome rudder pedals!

Exactly what I hoped for

They look great, they were easy to assemble and they work brilliantly. The software is easy to use with step by step walkthroughs for basic setup and configuration, but if you want to get really involved with customisation it has a huge depth of features available.

Crosswind V3

Received a V.3 version in Nov '20. They are well made and look beautiful. It is like there is artwork underneath the computer desk. Smooth silent action. Ordered the width adjusters but found I do not need them.
I don't have a rig to bolt the Crosswind to, and they are unstable/unusable on carpet and move around a lot. I attached a handmade brace to the heel-side of the base and am using larger rubber feet to anchor into the carpet and the pedals work great. Very satisfied with them so far. Highly recommended. Use them primarily with X-Plane.

Fantastic!

These are really fantastic pedals; precise and very pleasant to use. The calibration is easy, and adjusting the spring tensions etc was also easy with help of video guides (default toe brake tension was a bit too strong for my taste). Works without any problems in all sims I've tried it with so far. Warm recommendation.

Nice pedal and buttery smooth.

Works great with my DCS...however I find having trouble fine-tuning in MSFS2020. I've left everything default in the calibration and tried to do in the game itself and no help. Probably the game needs an update. No fault of the pedals of course. Pedal received as advertised. Easy putting together. No complains and greatly recommended if you can afford it. This is gonna be a lifetime investment so it's worth it.

Solid, but a little bit of stiction

Solid pedals, very nice feeling action. Both cams that come with the pedals are good, though I think I like the 4 better. Very precise and repeatable with zero deadzone that I can see (and I really tried to see if there was). I really like the adjustability in terms of spring tension, cam profiles, brake angles and brake travel angles.

Mine has a little bit of stiction on the rudder axis. Not enough to really degrage my ability to fly, but it's enough to notice and is a little bit of a bummer.

Overall super solid pedals. Night and day improvement over my previous Saitek pedals.

Excellent Pedals

The craftsmanship and build quality that goes into these pedals is excellent: They look and feel great. I've only had them for a few weeks, but they've already won me over in every sim and game I've tested them.

Great rudder pedals

Great product. Used to have a CH rudder. There is no comparison. 2 thumbs up. Set up was easy - just follow the video on their website. Almost time to use this with the new Microsoft Flight Sim.

I am new to flight sims and in process of building my first flight sim setup. After watching videos and reading reviews online I decided to go with these, very happy I did. Like most people I had never owned a set of rudder pedals but I decided on these due to a friend's recommendation and what I read online. These pedals are beautiful and work amazingly well. Even the packaging was brilliant. You will not be disappointed with these!

Worth the money.

Great product, probably the best in the market. Makes flying really fun. So definately worth the money if you can afford it. Adjustments are easy and YouTube videos very helpful. The calibration software initially appeared to be overly complex but it was easy to use. I wish I ordered extra width adjustment and cams and would have if I saw it during checkout.

Outstanding Pedals

I was pleased to see how infinitely adjustable they are. You can refine the parameter to precisely how YOU want them to perform.

Assembly and set-up was much easier than I thought it would be.

Solid and with a good weight.

Tip for pilots with wood floors: I am using a 3mm yoga mat under the pedals and they don't slide at all. Works like a charm.

I was very pleased how quickly they came to me in NY.

In my opinion this equipment is top quality. It is well made. Everything fits together perfectly. Using the pedals is a dream. The price is high but I believe you get what you pay for and your probably only going to buy one so buy quality, I would definitely recommend these pedals.

Delighted with these rudder pedals - sturdy and accurate - clearly a quality product!
Appreciative of the quick support (over a weekend) - I'd foolishly used the joystick firmware and not the V2 rudder firmware - otherwise very straight forward to assemble (minimal) and install the software.

Fantastic!

Had these for about 2 weeks now, using primarily in DCS for the F18, Huey and Warbirds. I considered the Thrustmaster TPR pedals (I have used a friends on and off) but after reading extensively all the options on the market these Crosswinds felt like the right fit for me. Really glad I went with these, very smooth motion, highly adjustable and very accurate. Also feel like they will last a long time, they are built like a tank! Not much else I can say that has not been covered elsewhere. I will point out one area that I feel could be improved, the toe brake springs are very tight even after I changed the position per the youtube video. Perhaps in future a set of softer springs could be included?

Rudder Pedals

I am impressed with the quality and everything.

A wonderful set of pedals

These have certainly enhanced my glider and helicopter flying. Assembly was easy and the range of possible adjustments should make them suit a wide variety of setups. I couldn't go back to another set now.

My only reservation is with the response to customer questions. I wrote in to ask for clarification about the stated adjustment required for Windows drivers. The response was brusque and didn't address my concern. I think though that the problem may be down to issues with translation. But while I have another question, I'm a bit nervous about writing in again.

Fantastic piece of hardware

These are definitely my favourite upgrade to my flight sim setup I’ve made, initially I hesitated on the price as originally I was in the “only really use them on takeoff and landing” corner and the price seemed high for that, but I was sure wrong.

Everything feels great, smooth, and accurate. Makes a huge difference for practicing slips, crosswind landings, and even taxiing.

My unit did arrive slightly defective, in that the spring that holds the tension had one side loop broken off (couldn’t find the piece in the box so I believe it was broken before shipping) but it was an easy enough fix to heat and bend a new loop into the spring. No fault of Milan, If I had to guess it was broken being molested in customs.

Fast shipping even in quarantine times and these have made me a very happy simmer.

Great product I am totally satisfied

Received the pedals last week and I am very happy with the quality, the design and the function. Using the pedals with Flightsim Xplane for Airbus A320 and Bell Uh1 helicopter.
Very nice product, I have now the feeling I was missing with my old pedals.

Excellent Device

Ordered these right in the middle of the Covid-19 outbreak. Service and delivery via DHL from Croatia to Denver, CO was outstanding. Arrived in just a little over a week. Set up was easy following the YouTube video. I didn’t do any major adjustments to the setting and am very happy with the feel. I have small feet US 7.5 so I need to make sure I have my toes up to towards the top of the pedals when braking with just socks. Highly recommend as a big step up from my old Saiteks.

Awesome Flight Pedals

These are the best rudder pedals I have found. The quality, accuracy and price make them top of the line. Do not waste money on the cheap plastic ones or the over price metal ones these work so much better and for a lot less.

Simply Awesome

Wow, what can I say. I was initially worried that I may have been paying far too much for these rudder pedals, but my concerns soon disappeared once they arrived. The build quality is superb and is only matched by my trusty Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog. Once they were calibrated, I noticed the difference immediately. In fact, you don't really know what you're missing until you experience these beauties. Nice one MFG, thank you.

Amazing product and design

I am very happy with the pedals. I think they are very well designed especially with all the options for adjustment. A good example is the pedal angle that has a scale so you can match the other pedal to the same value.

A must for serious Sim pilots

I have had these for about 2 weeks now and they are a major upgrade from the TFRP pedals I had. Those are plastic toys.

THe MFG's are super solid and I know they will hold up for a long time. They look great and the pedal feel helps with immersion in DCS while in VR. Much more precise when taxing around and using them for lining up gun shots or bomb drops. Cross wind landings are easier as well. I put the toe brake spring on the weakest setting and the pedals at 45deg angle to more simulate real rudder pedals.

Shipping was super fast to California as well. Only 4 days.

Kaufabwicklung 1 A. An den Pedalen ist für mich nichts auszusetzen. Das von den Vor-Beurteilern kritisierte kippen bzw. rutschen tritt bei mir nicht auf. Ich setze eben beide Füße gleichzeitig auf die Pedale und habe einen rutschfesten Boden. Also für mich volle Punktzahl

Wow - what a great set of pedals!

I bought these as an upgrade to my g27 pedal setup as a rudder. Just amazing to use.
I adjusted the brake spring tension to the softest setting and after trying different pedal angles went back to default, it all feels dialled in for me now.
YouTube vids though a few years old still relevant for the V2 pedals.

Smooth, precise, and I couldn't be happier with the investment!

Best Pedals i ever had

Assembly and Installation was very easy when you watch the Video. I do not need further Adjustments because the Pedals fits perfect for me. Centerline with CAM6 (CAM4 not tested), Springmount on CAM-Arm outside and Spring-Adjustmentscrew on halfway is very good. Toebrakes in Factorysetting are strong to push (I like it so). I use the Pedals for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Alpha. Control of the Rudderaxis is wonderful, you can trim easily in every Situation, Brakes the same way. The only Thing i would suggest is to make the Baseplate to an X-Shape like the frontside to stop tip over to the backside. Otherwise great Product.

Excellent product

This is an incredibly high-quality and well-made product. The change from my old CH Products pedals is amazing and I now have a much smoother middle transition and better motion overall. Flying helicopters is a much more enjoyable experience.

Super Impressed

Just received my rudder pedals today and put them ton how together. Really impressed for the Quality and workman ship of them. I didn't receive instructions of how to put them together, but just buy looking at the pictures on the web site it wasn't to hard to figure out. I still have a couple of small questions , but they don't amount to much. Not to take away from the quality of the rudder pedals by any means because they look fantastic. So much of a better build than my old logitech pedals that broke because of all of the cheap plastic pieces that make it up. MFG's service is exceptional and I mean exceptional. From the time I ordered it to the time it was at my door was only 6 days and I think it only took that long because I ordered it on a Saturday here in the USA. Phenomenal service hands down. I'm normally don't comment on things I buy, but in this case I had to make an exception. I will do my best to try to comment on them once I get a chance to use them.

Macintosh Compatibility

I'd like to add that I am on a Macintosh. Although you need to calibrate the pedals on a windows machine it is done very easily and only needs done once. If you have a Mac and an available windows box by all means get these pedals, you won't regret it!

Functionality is what counts

Functionality is what counts. I have been using rudder pedals for over 20 years in flight simulators. These rudder pedals give me the most precise control I have ever had in my gaming experiences. I don't care if they are not aluminum or metal. I do like the fact of the simplistic build and the ease of replacing parts if or when they
fail in the future. I see these pedals lasting a very long time. They are worth every penny to me.

Some trouble during setup, otherwise fantastic

I recommend plugging everything in before adjusting pedal angle. I had some trouble calibrating and had to do a bunch of troubleshooting to get them working.

Once they’re up and running they are absolutely fantastic though. Well worth the money.

Invest in an MFG CrossWind Flight Simulator Rudder Peddle.

If I died tomorrow, the CrossWind Rudder Peddle gets planted with me as well! What a marvelous development in flight simulation hardware. (Of course, if I think of it in time, I’ll leave it to one my lucky family members in the Trust Fund!)

Slick design features and technologies, ease of assembly and associated calibration applications as well as top notch service after the sale! (I made a mistake configuring the rudder peddle and Milan Šimundža was very patient and explained exactly what needed to be done to correct the error that I made.) Thank You very much for that too!

If the investment seems excessive to you, imagine the total cost of replacing/repairing similar hardware that will fail over the problem free lifetime of an MFG Crosswind Flight Simulator Rudder Peddle. If you still think the cost of ownership is too high, I suggest researching a second or third employment opportunity. Buy Right the First Time!

Beautifully engineered, sturdy, customisable, and deadly accurate high end product.
Only one criticism, when placing one foot on the rudder, it tilts unless stabilised by bolting it to the floor, or board.

All adjustments were easy, thanks to the tutorial videos. The quality of the pedals is great, they are very smooth and accurate.

Not aluminum, no documentation, the price is high for plastic, y

I bought it from EU, as all others. I would wanted to have them here in USA – I am sure that there are many that will want to buy them but the wait it’s a no no for many.
The product functions as desire with X Plane 11, no drivers needed and no configuration – just an easy calibration (the app knowing the limits of the controls).
There were no manuals or instructions on how to install anything on it. A quick reference guide should have been made available in print on what needs to be connected and how. There are 2 wires from the pedals coming in to a controller unit but I did not see a color code plug or diff plug, so a user can easily cross the wire and plug the wrong wire in the wrong port on the controller, what if I put them backwards, will it still work?
I have a part that came with it, and I don’t know what is used for – again that paper printed out mentioning what I could use it for, it would have been beneficial.
The material made out of it, it’s black plastic with a white sheet of laminated plastic layer on top. From the looks of it and the price, I was expecting Croatian aluminum to be made of, instead plastic. If I knew that it’s made of plastic, I would have order the black one instead of the white, considering the fact that there lamination of the white is chipped off during the manufacturing – drilling/CNCing the material. In addition the cost is too high for the thick plastic put together.
Moreover, the pedals angle is too low, I would want to adjust it as right now, if I press the brake all the way, my leg is flat, where if I use my car pedals or look at the airplane rudders it’s not the same, and again no documentation for that adjustment.
The device servers the purpose but I the cost is too high. I will say they need to revamp the manufacturing to use molds instead of CNCing, and use aluminum and not plastic.
The unit is light too, it will move as I push the pedals, so I need to attach it to a platform of some sort that has more weight, so it will not move the entire unit.
I will recommend this to a friend because of the functionality, but will definitely not buy it this product if another one was available in aluminum.

sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Ich schreibe die Bewertung mal in Deutsch, da es sicher auch viele deutsche Interessenten gibt.
Die Pedale sind sehr gut verarbeitet und sind vor allem sehr präzise. Auch die vielen Einstellmöglichkeiten (Kraft, Winkel,...) gefallen mir sehr gut und sind so bei handelsüblichen Pedalen kaum zu finden. Ich stand vor der Entscheidung mir Force-Feedback-Pedale von Brunner (von denen habe ich den wirklich genialen Yoke) oder andere Qualitätspedale zu kaufen.
Die Crosswind-Pedale haben meiner Meinung nach das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich fliege hauptsächlich A2A-GA-Fleiger, dafür gefallen sie mir sehr gut. Auch wenn sie nicht so 100% realistisch sind, aber für das Steuern mit aufgesetzter Hacke gibt es für diese Pedale im Netzt ja eine Lösung.
Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, aber sie machen einen sehr stabilen EIndruck.
Allerdings sollten die Pedale unbedingt am Boden verankert werden, sonst kippen sie beim Aufsetzen eine Fußes sofort um. Dafür gebe ich aber keinen Abzug, da ich sie eh am Boden festschrauben wollte. Dafür sind in der Bodenplatte der Pedale die Löcher bereits vorhanden.

smooth

Beautiful to look at (shame they sit under my desk!), smooth and accurate in operation, very comfortable underfoot too.

However adjusting the brake resistance is frustrating, Trying to reduce the stiffness I've already damaged the bracket with a piece chipping off around the first hole. The difference in weighting is so small however I wish that I hadn't tried, I'll leave it as it is now so as not to risk breaking something else. A pity since the tension adjustment for the rudder axis is so simple and easy to adjust. If an improved design for the brakes was availabe I'd happily pay if it could be retrofitted. Very fast delivery!

Five-Star Quality MFG Pedals!

Very easy to set up in FSX-SE. The airplane now feels very fluid. It's almost like learning how to sim-fly again--but you'll never go back to a joy-stick again! Be sure to watch the MFG videos.

Best buy ever

Never thought it would make this much of a difference. But it does. Flying in VR comes to life.. Great for instruction (i.e. taildraggers) too.

MFG Crosswind

I've had them for a week now. They're great. Sturdy, high quality. Make a huge different for my rudder work on helicopters like the Huey. And jets that require a lot of rudder input.

Very pleased with the Crosswind V2. Went together and worked without any issues. I had hoped it would be more stable when you put your feet on the pedals, but it tips over if you just put up one foot at a time. To solve this, I mounted the V2 to a 24" x 24" piece of 1/2" plywood - perfect solution - now rock solid!

Funktionsweise

Hier eine Wertung in Deutsch. Das MFG Crosswind ist sehr solide Verbaut. Er reagiert auf kleinste Ausschläge. Die Bremspedale sind etwas schwierig zu verstellen. Hier sollte man aufpassen. Auch sind diese etwas schwer zu betätigen. Man sollte hier etwas verändern um die Feder etwas mehr verstellen zu können. Wichtig ist, dass der MFG auf einer Platte / Boden verschraubt wird. Die Standhaftigkeit ist verheerend. Daher auch einen Punkt Abzug.

Class Act Design & Engineering !

Bought the MFG Crosswind V2 (off-white in colour), S/N 5426 in 2018 and use them exclusively in DCS, racking up well over 450 hours of flying hours. They work, and they work very well.

The thoughtful and sturdy(!) design is a piece of craftsmanship and engineering marvel that is becoming quite rare nowadays it seems.

With the Crosswinds, together with my VKB Modern Combat Grip Pro Flightstick and Virpil MongooseT-50 Throttle Control System, I need little else to keep on flying many for many more hours.

Plus owner Milan is just a bloody swell gent, answering all and any questions and concerns I had regarding spring tensions, Cams and size of the foot pedals, given my UK size 13,5 UK feet.

Milan's Crosswinds are, arguably, the very best in the Flight SIM industry.

Have recommended it to 2 co-pilots, and will continue to do so to others given my personal experience with the Crosswinds.

Breathtaking equipment

500+ hours of use and no problems at all. Smooth and joy to use. I fly multiple flight and space simulators and demand high precision, reliability and consistency. (DCS. P3D, Elite Dangerous).

The cost sets an expectation and the MFG Crosswind V2 have delivered and keep on delivering. This is a case of money well spent and it's worth the effort to save the extra money to buy them for sure.

Best Pedals Ever

I have always used rudder pedals for flight sims, ever since setting up a PC-XT back in 1986. And I've tried every major brand of controller since that time.

My Crosswind pedals (s/n 0580) are absolutely the very best pedals that I have ever used for flight sims.

Pure quality

I use them for several years and they not only show no signs of wear but enjoy me as much as at the beginning. Or maybe even more because after a year I began to experiment with curves, and that turned amazing pedals into divine pedals :))).

Bought a set of these years ago along with an extension (definitely check them out).
Love these pedals. Very smooth and accurate. Comfortable to use and I easily mounted them in my custom pit. Just what I wanted.
Hadn't used them for a while and I was having an issue with the calibration. I sent an email and got a very quick response which fixed the issue (a loose connection I had missed). Thanks MFG - awesome service added to pedals I love. Can't be beaten.

Unbeatable Value

I don't remember exactly when I got my Crosswinds, S/N 1204. Probably at least 3 or so years ago. What I do remember is that they have not given me one issue the entire time I have been using them other than that I don't really want to stop using them.

Seriously, for anything near these in price they can't be beat. Very adjustable and with the different cam profiles and spring positions you can get them feeling just how you want.

These pedals are the total package. They are a perfect companion to any sim.
